Moving lights have been placed on iron sand collected from the beach of Tanegashima. The iron sand – magnetite crystals form a regular octahedron and reflect light as tiny mirrors.
A world-famous light artist. Exhibited more than 160 pieces by participating at the largest art festivals and light festivals in various countries including France, Germany, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Taiwan and the United States. Featured as one of eight light artists in the OPTICA magazine in the U.S. along with the likes of Anish Kapoor and Olafur Eliasson. Leads the light art world such as by touring a large-scale retrospective exhibition around Europe.
